General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
It is just side effect of the mirena coil.
Blood clots and different color blood is suggest fresh blood and old blood that remain in the uterus.
It will disappear in the 4-5 week.
Progesterone pill will help to reduce the bleeding.
If it will continue then consult the gynecologist and coil should be removed as you are not suitable for the mirena coil contraception and select the other contraception like condoms and oral contraceptive pill.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Hope this may help you
