What Causes Menstrual Cycle After Taking Methylprednisolone?

I am on day 3 of methylprednisolone and started my menstrual cycle 2 weeks early. Side effect info on the prescription says to contact my Dr. immediately if this occurs. Since I won't be able to reach him until tomorrow morning, I'm wondering how concerned I should be tonight.
