What Causes Menstrual Like Bleeding With Clots After Having Intercourse?

I ended my cycle on Saturday...had sex Sunday...a bit rough....noticed spotting immediately in restroom during clean up....No big deal....driving Monday and blood gushes down my leg. Now it seems as if I ve started my cycle all over again since today is Saturday and it s still heavy....I m also passing blood clots the size of a half dollar....I m 38yo and have a clamp on my tubes.....

You are 38 yrs of age and have a clamp on the tubes. Presently, you are experiencing menstrual like bleeding with clots after intercourse. The symptoms may be indicative of PCOS, abnormal thyroid levels, early pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy), early menopause, rough sex, dry vagina, penetrating injury to the vagina/cervix, etc. Medical conditions that may cause such symptoms are polyp (endometrial or cervical), fibroid or endometriosis.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN. Get the required tests and investigations done. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. You will be accordingly treated. You are suggested to avoid doing any heavy work, stay away from stress. Take home made nutritious food rich in iron, calcium and protein. Take adequate rest. Stay well hydrated.
