What Causes Menstruation With Cramping At The Start Of A Pregnancy?

I m with my daughter who had a positive pregnancy test on Monday, first day of last cycle was 7/2. Hormone blood test was 41. She was spotting for two days and now has a full period. Very cramp. Shs has a drs. appt on Wednesday of next week. She has no fever but severe cramping. What should we do? Doctor told her she had miscarried over the phone.

For sure it is early spontanous abortion. It is accompanied with bleeding and pain. You have to do another bHCG analysis to confirm this.
