Hi I d like to consult you about problems I ve been having with my neck and mouth. For the last few days I ve had small mouth ulcers in my mouth; yesterday I started noticing a metallic taste and pain on the right side of my mouth/tongue, especially when I swallow. In the evening my throat started to ache (different from a standard sore throat). The symptoms have persisted today, and additionally I have two swollen areas on either side of the top of my neck, particularly prominent on the right hand side although not visible, which are painful to the touch. I suffer from fibromyalgia and coeliac disease, but have never experienced symptoms like this before (although I suffered from several bouts of acute sore throat / voice loss around a year ago). For the last 5 months I have also been suffering from unexplained sever headaches with a several day duration that occur at least once a fortnight. I m currently living overseas and medical consultation is expensive, so I was wondering if you had any ideas about what it could be or whether there is any medication that it is worth me tying before seeing a doctor s advice? Thanks, Heather
