What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth Along With Cough And Congestion?

I am 64 y o male weight 100kgs and nearly 185cm tall. I have been having metallic taste when coughing and sometimes bring up nearly 1 cup of clear phlegm. I only take a multi vitamin and Viread for a Hepatitis B. I also wheeze at night before sleeping.

I understand your concern.
You seem to have chest congestion with wheezing.. indicating respiratory infection/ allergic problem.
The metallic taste you have is due to the Viread side effect/ infection.
* Consult a chest physician , get examined & investigated( Blood work/ sputum examination, / X ray chest) followed by specific treatment to heal you.
