What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth Of Person Suffering With GERD?
My daughter Is a 34 woman that has Gerds for 12 years. She is on Dexalant. Over the past two weeks, she has had a sour, bitter, metallic taste in her mouth and finds that she can t eat due to this problem. She just had an endoscopy two days ago and it found that she has gastritis and Candida and there was a biopsy done. There was a possible Schatzki s ring and Maloney dilation done, as well. Her doctor is a rather gruff man and just passes off her problem as live with it, but unfortunately, she is not able to. We are looking for help!

I really appreciate your concern, Gastroesophageal reflux Disease best can be managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time and this need to be continue for six weeks during this time period avoid coffee, spicy food, smoking, alcohol, at the time of bed or prior to bed, ask her to low down the stress, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
