Hi,

As per your complaint, metallic taste in mouth is a common side-effect of medicines and it can be due to Eltroxin that contains Levothyroxine and can also be due to vermox.

In case if you are now taking Eltroxin and have stopped Vermox, the cause of metallic taste seems to be due to Eltroxin.

You can consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.

In case if it is due to medication either reduction in dose or changing with substitute drugs can help. As of now you can chew flavoured sugarfree chewing gum to mask bad taste.

Gargle with flavoured mouthwash. Drink plenty of water. Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
