What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth And Numbness In The Tongue?

Having a metallic taste in mouth, numbness on left side of tongue from the tip to mid tongue, Numbness of the thumb and index finger of left hand. Symptoms are at the same time and lasts 15 to 20 minutes, 2-3 times in 1 day and not every day. Started a few weeks ago. Having a MRI in one week, Dr. doesn t have a clue.
