What Causes Mid Cycle Spotting?
I started my period on the 30th of July 2015 and i had sex on my ovulation day on the 13th of August 2015 and on the 17 of August i have experienced spotting ( brownish spot blood followed by very light pinkish blood ) and it didnt last for 5 minutes then it dissapeared , I tried to wipe again and it was no longer there, could that be ovulation spotting

The main question here is whether you were well protected whe you had sexual intercourse or not. If tou weren't then negating the possibility of conception will be required using an early morning urine sample for a home pregnancy test. Please do the same if you miss your period on tbe expected date.
I doubt it is anything serious to worry about, and the only thing required would be a pregnancy test.
