What Causes Middle Back Pain Along With Headache And Body Chills?

I have had in the last few nights some right mid back pain. No changes in diet or exercise. I am not pregnant. No UTI. I have had loose stools, little bloating with abdominal pain. Which I was attributing to my period. I now have headache, chills, but no fever. I was just curious if it could kidney stones and if so, how dangerous is it if I don t get it looked at?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Chills, back pain, headache are more common in viral infection than kidney stone.
So better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination and blood reports like CBC ( complete blood count) today rule viral infection.
Kidney stone can also cause similar symptoms but intensity of back pain is much more. So it is less likely in your case.
But better to get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out kidney stone.
If it shows kidney stone and you don't do anything then it is likely to damage your kidney.
So consult doctor and get done these tests.
Possibility of kidney stone is less likely.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
