I have stable angina pectoris. I follow mostly a paleo diet and limit my carbohydrates, especially the refined kind. However, I have noticed on mornings when I go for my 2-1/2 mile walk (hill county) where the night before I had a high carb meal, my angina is significantly less, sometimes to the point of not feeling it at all. Normally, I feel it in the first big hill then after that it goes away even though I walk up a couple more big hills.
