i have had i bad cough for about 6 months now and i have been getting bad migranes in the morning nd when im laying down, also very sharp pains in he middle of my left rib cage, and i have been to the doctors 3 times and the first time they gave me antibiotics and the second time they gave me cough syrup and the third time they gave me sinus spray. They have also done chest & sinus xrays and they both h\came back normal they also did pulminary function tests and blood work but they cannot find out what is causeing my cough.... my cough will be very bad and some times it will be a wet cough sometimes a very dry cough, and them it will slow down once in a whle but surley it starts again. I am constantly in pain and just want to find out what is wrong so i can get the proper treatment .... Thank you
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! I passed carefully through your medical history and would explain that your symptoms may be related to an allergic reaction. A fungal infection can not be excluded too. It may mimic a sinus infection and upper respiratory tract infection.
I recommend consulting with an allergologist and performing some allergy tests. A sinus discharge bacterial culture would help exclude possible sinus infection.
