What Causes Migraines And Stiffness In Neck And Back?

I ve been having headaches on/off for almost 2 months. Drs originally thought it was meningitis. Stiff neck/horrible migraines but no fever. A month went by still have tension in my neck/back of the head and migraines every so often. The last two days I ve had some bad episodes. Could barely enjoy the 4th of July. When I blow my nose I feel pain in my head. Maybe an artery? Im hoping drs see something on my MRI with contrast. Nothing on ct scan. I aslo feel a lot of pressure when I stand up. Makes me think my blood pressure is high. So, how can I have neck/head pain, sinus pain, and pressure as well as whats known as ice pick headaches on top of and in the back of my head?? What is going on? I am only 25 M fairly healthy. Dont smoke/drink. Im just tired of this constant pressure headaches and nausea. I want my life back.

Hi, I recommend tha you wait for the MRI results. If there is no abnormalities this is good news. However treatment plans need the full workup among which is the MRI. Meanwhile I recommend that you follow a healthy diet, try to minimze stress in your life, cut the coffee and tea, and any stress causing issues. If you use computer and set for long time please try to move and maybe take a walk daily for one hour no running just walk.
