What Causes Mild Abdominal Pain And Bloating?

My husband is 52, diabetic and obese. Just had bloodwork and the doctor says his liver enzymes are tripled. In the last month he has been experiencing mild pain throughout his abdomen, bloating and sometimes a feeling of pressure at the bladder area. Last year is was told that he tested positive for Hepatitis B, but was later told after extensive bloodwork at the hospital (he was admitted for a week with some mystery bowel infection) that they showed no signs of the Hep B. He seems to have diarrhea alot as well. Your thoughts?
