What Causes Mild Bleeding During Urination Post Intake Of Plan B?
Hello, so my mentrual flow stopped on the 21st. I had intercourse with a condom the 22nd and on the 23rd I took a plan B just because I m not on birth control. Today is the 28th I have been bleeding a bit when I pee and I m wondering if I m still on my menstrual cycle? There was no blood during intercourse so at this point I m wondering if its a side effect from plan b because I ve gotten my period twice one time in the past. I just went to check if I have a flow and I still have some blood, would there be a chance of pregnancy?
Bleeding is quite possible due to such medicines. Make sure it is not severe, or you need to see a doctor in such scenario. I suggest you to avoid such medications and rather stick to safe methods like using condom. It will prevent you from sexually transmitted diseases too. Those plan B medications are to be taken only in unavoidable circumstances.
Please do not consider it to be an alternative to condoms, they can be harmful for your future reproductive life. Rest assured your present problem would likely be resolved but make sure that it doesn't become severe.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Suhas Chauhan
