What Causes Mild Bruising In Eye After Taking Off Contact Lens?

I have been wearing contacts a lot lately (which is unusual; my job demands it) and today, after not wearing contacts all day (I had a day off) my right eye now feels bruised when I touch it on the outer upper edge, underneath my eyelid. It feels slightly concave.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern.
Discussion:- Such symptoms may not be due to not wearing the contact lens but this could be due to some allergic condition and may be conjunctivitis.
Medication:- Anti-histamine and anti- inflammatory eye drops can be tired.
Advise:- Better to see the ophthalmologist for better diagnosis.
Comments:-While using eye drops care need to be taken for sensitivity, concave feeling could be just nonspecific.
