What Causes Mild Fever After An Arm Injury In A Child?

My 9 year old son got hit by a car. He was seen by doctor and have fractuted arm and a slight bruise on his eyelid. It had been a week and was quite om but he is not eating good meals just nibbiling some food and today he has slight fever.. could it be related to the acciident please?

I don't think this is related to the fracture he suffered before. I believe this can mostly be related to flu or common cold. You can give acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever.
