What Causes Mild Fever And Stomach Pain Inspite Of Taking Metrogyl And Paracetamol?

I was not feeling well in the evening. I took a paracetomol and slept early. next morning I had light fever around 99.6 degree F and really bad stomach by 12.00 noon. I took 800 mg of metrogyl at 12.00 noon and repeated 800 mg at 6.00 pm. I was well. I took 400 mg of metrogyl at 12.00 night. Next morning my fever was normal and my stomach was normal. How do i manage further?

Hello,
I can understand your concern.
I suggest you not to take any antibiotics with out the advise of a doctor.
Since you have already started metrogyl and its been two days,i would suggest you to continue metrogyl for another two days 400mg three times a day.
I would suggest a probiotic like tab sporolac twice daily for five days.
Kindly take ors also.
Continue paracetamol if fever persists
I would suggest not to take antibiotics with out consulting a doctor. Unnecessary and inapropriate usage of antibiotics lead to antibiotic resistance rendering them useless against the microbes.
I would like to review after the course of medication has completed.
