What Causes Mild Fever And Swollen Left Arm After Removal Of Cancerous Thyroid ?
I have papillary thyroid cancer. It metastasized to my lymph node, puts me at stage 4. The surgery to remove my thyroid and the lymph node was on Jan 28th. The last 3 days, I ve been running a low grade fever with swelling in my left upper arm. I went to the ER and they ran a ton of tests tests but all came back just fine. I have been told I have frozen shoulder and eventually will go to orthopedic for therapy. I am scheduled for Radioactive Iodine treatment the last week of April. As the fever continues to run from 99.7 - 100.4 is there anything else I should be worried about?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, right now or initially such febrile condition can be considered as viral infection it may takes few days to week and if the symptoms long last then it can be seen for infection that is all, else this is nothing to worry, keep reading the body temperature hope this information helps.
