Pain Medicine & Palliative Care Specialist, Dr. Sabiha Banu's Response
hi this swelling can be due to post procedural compression on the venous blood vessels, or a local haematoma collection in the available subcutaneous pockets.
this can lead to infection or soft tissuecellulitis,or lymphaedema the reason for low grade fever.
i suggest you to meet the treating doctor as early as possible before the infection worsens to evaluate the problem with an x-ray or local ultrsound.
heamogram to find the Hb & wbc count for any blood loss or infection.
keep the limb slightly elevated.
all the best take care
