What Causes Mild Headaches And Burning Urination After An Ectopic Surgery?

Hi, doctor! Is it normal to experience mild headaches and burning urine after an ectopic surgery. I had the op in July and now I have something like a urinary infection(no discharge) , only pain & stinging on the inside. Also seem to not get rid of the swollen lymph nodes behind my ear and at the back of my head close to hairline. I have had it for the past three weeks now. What s causing this and is it normal?

Hello,

I think it can be a urinary tract infection. You should do an urine analysis and possibly an uroculture to determine the kind of bacteria which is causing it. You may need to take antibiotics.

As per about the lymph nodes you refer they may come from an infection. Doing a total blood count is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
