What Causes Mild Pain Along With Itching On The Upper Back And Chest?

Hi. What might cause itching in my upper back and chest area, followed by severe dull pain in the same area that was alleviated by belching? At least it was alleviated last night that way. I am also itching right now in the same area and there is a slight ache.

First of all, do you have any neck pain or symptoms of cervical spondylosis

Itching of the Upper back can be due to Notalgia Parasthetica, a condition where itching can happen between shoulder blades and also can radiate to the chest?

It can cause due to nerve pinching. You can consult an Orthopedician for the same.

Also, the itching can be due to certain allergy and as you have severe symptoms and scratch pain can radiate. It would be best to find an orthopedician and diagnose the condition.
