Hello. I often experience a mildly painful pressure-like sensation in my nose from which my headaches (which are frequent) seem to stem. This might sound like a common sinus headache, but I m not convinced. You see, when applying pressure to my nose (in order to dull the pain somewhat), I m aware of a gap or hole between my nasal bone and the septal nasal cartilage on my left side. It seems that I simply do not have cartilage in this area (the right side, however, is perfectly intact). When I rub my nose, it consistently makes a clicking nose. The discomfort I experience is centralized mostly upon the bridge of my nose and usually occurs simultaneously with a headache. Is this situation unusual? Is there any treatment I can seek? I have been experiencing this problem for a while now (perhaps a few years), and while it s in no way debilitating, it is uncomfortable, unpleasant, and often painful. Thank you for your time and help.
