What Causes Mild Pain In Lower Back Along With Fever And Fatigue?

experiencing dull pain in my lower back, only on the left side. also feeling slightly feverish and lack of energy. active, healthy 35 yrs old. no history of any kind of medical issues whatsoever. first thought was that i pulled a muscle lifting something, but more and more convinced its something else. painful to go from sitting to standing, sensitive to bumps in the road while driving, etc. wondering if i should wait it out, or go get a urine test for kidney infection, etc.

Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
Yes the symptoms you are mentioning are mostly indicative for Urinary tract problems and probably with the kidneys. Having fevers indicates an infection. This problem may be caused by any kind of infection in you kidneys, stones, sand, urine reflux etc. So the steps you have to follow to determine this situation are:
- Complete urine count
- Complete blood count
- Creatinine and Urea
- Abdominal (urinary tract) ultrasound examination.
If you find something abnormal in these tests, please contact as soon as possible your doctor at your healthcare center or a nephrologist at the hospital, so you will get the optimal treatment to pass this situation away.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
