Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am getting a mild pain in the center of my chest, just above the sternum area. It seems to be like an electrical shock of some sort. It only lasts for a few seconds and occurs a few times an hour. I m 47 and in decent health. I am a letter carrier and walk nearly 11 miles/day. This just started today.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, most of the time such pain could be due to heart burn but it has to be looked for cardiac disease too and for that it is advisable to get done the ECG, meanwhile you may try "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" Domperidone 30 mg" once in day else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
