Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing moderate pain on the top of my left wrist and hand (I am right-handed) as well as fingers when I play guitar. The symptoms came on suddenly 2 weeks ago. I don t experience numbness or tingling or in the palm side of my hand. I have been playing guitar for many years and this is the first time this has occurred
It is possible that specific movement that is needed to be constantly done while playing the instrument may be main reason for beginning of the pain in the wrist. If it persists, it is better to get the wrist examined by a physician/orthopedician to see if any treatment is needed to overcome the same. Do not neglect. Plus you may have to give some rest to it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
