Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Mild Pain In Upper Left Abdomen, Loss Of Appetite And Nausea?
I have mild to moderate pain upper left abdomen below ribs, tender to the touch, loss of appetite, nausea after eating (any type of food), feeling of fullness after a few bites of food, fatique. These symptoms have worsened over last 6 months. Any pointers on possible diagnosis to check into with my physician would be helpful. 33 year old female no tobacco or alcohol use
It could be a chronic stomach ulcer. I suggest you get a gastroscopy by your local gastroenterologist and if that is clean, an ultrasound of your abdomen.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
