What Causes Mild Pressure In Upper Jaw And Bitter Taste In Mouth?
Hi, I have been having slight pressure in my right upper jaw leading to my ear? Could this be an ear infection? And I ve also been experiencing some bitter/metallic taste in my mouth as well. My sinuses seem alittle congested too. Should I seek medical attention?
As you describe your condition like pressure in the area of sinus , congestion and foul smell coming out of your mouth . It seems to be the case of sinusitis .You should consult ENT Specialist as soon as possible to prevent it from further spread to the neighboring parts and make your condition worst The best way to identify a sinus infection is with a sinus CT scan, although sinus x-rays are a decent alternative. Hence the first step will be to rule out the above by a visit to an ENT Specialist. You may start with gargle salt water , mouthwashes, tongue cleaning
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
