What Causes Mild Pricking Sensation All Over The Body While Having Cervical Disc Bulge?

I am having mild pin pricking sensation all over my body for the last two days. 6 months back i was diagnosed with l4 disc bulge. I had back pain but now it has reduced considerably with exercise . But now suddenly i have this sensation without any back pain. Should i be worried

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to lumbar myelopathy or due to the spine issue that you had discussed earlier, however, a neurologist opinion and nerve conduction studies after detailed sensory examination of lower limbs should be performed.

Gabapentin can be helpful for symptomatic relief. Levels for B12, folic acid and D3 may be checked.
