I have a mild sore throat persisting over week with no other symptoms. I get more air with the nostril opposite the side of the soreness and I think I snore when I drink. I was a smoker, but quit. I have been tested for aids and have no family history of cancer. My mother has copd, should I worry about throat cancer or pulmonary disease or am I being a hypochondriac?
