What Causes Mild Stomach Pain And Fever In Children?

hi... I have a 7 yr old boy. He came home froms school yesterday am with the average tummy ache, and fever. gave meds every 4-6 hrs for fever reducer. he selt all day. came home from work at 515pm and fever was still 102.0 I put him in the shower and gave him his next dose of fever reducer. he has been puking for the last 2 days the fever is gone. he is very weak and will not eat or drink on his own. I have been forcing him to take sips of soup, crackers, and freeze pop. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi, by what you quote it seems that your child has probably got stomach infection. In my opinion, you should give antibiotic like syrup oflox to the child for 3 days. You should also continue drug for fever. I hope this will help you. Take care.
