Hello, Welcome to HCM. I can understand your problem. You have a history of asthma & mild hypertension which is under control and had tightness of chest along with breathlessness. It may be due to aggravation of asthma or some problem related to heart. Asthma may aggravated in certain seasonal change, exertion or if you are exposed to some allergen. It may require dose adjustment. Chest tightness and breathlessness at night may also be due to angina. You need to undergo some investigations like ECG, treadmill test etc. along with blood count and cardiac markers. I would advise you to consult your physician for further management. Hope this will be helpful. Thanks for using HCM. Take care.
