what causes milky color in the urine, it appears to besticky because it is lining the catheter tube. My mother is 89 yrs old and has been through 3 right hip replacement surgeries since Jan. 21st 2015. The first on re broke within 2 weeks, the second was a complete hi replacement & it got full of mrsa staph infection, the third replacement was caused by the staff infection. Ever since the third replacement Mother has not been without pain in the hip & groin area. Therefore she has never been able to walk on it at all. When she stands she is in screaming pain. Takes tramadol for the pain.

HI, I am sorry to read your mother's history. The milky white urine she has can be due to urine problem (albumin in urine/ phosphates/ vaginal discharge. ) It needs earliest attainsion. Please get her urine examined ( routine & microscopic exam & culture & sensitivity )Consult a urologist with the report. He may ask few more investigations & will start with specific treatment About her Hip problem.. suitable antibiotic / anti inflammatory drugs/ magament of her urine problem,along with mild physio therapy with expert advise.
