What Causes Milky Whitish Discharge With Bad Odor?
I was recently prescribed with a Diflucan and it helped but it s been a few weeks since and I m experiencing an odorous white milky discharge again. I ve been taking AZO yeast for the past 2 days and I don t know that it helps. I ve already been tested for all STIs and I m negative. What would be the best thing to purchase at a drugstore to clear this up?
Hello, Thanks for letting us know your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. Your symptoms are suggestive of a recurrent vaginal infection. Self-medication in such a situation is not advisable as it can lead to incomplete treatment and resistant infection. I would ask you to see a specialist for a proper appraisal of your situation. You would need a vaginal and/or cervical swab, a sonogram of the pelvis, urinalysis and blood sugar levels. Please do not douche or use strong soap solutions to clean the genital region. Avoid tampons. Abstain from intercourse until you are well healed. Hope this helps.
