What Causes Minimal PTB In The Left Lung In A Healthy Individual?

Hi doctor! Recently i ve been diagnose with a PTB minimal in my left lung, it s my first time with this kind of infection. I know this is not heridetary but my question is it is really possible to have this kind of disease if you really thought you re healthy? My other question also is what maybe the other causes in having this kind of infection? Thank you.

Hello,

Minimal post tuberculosis means that before in your lifetime you have been in contact with this agent which has cause a self limited lung infection. To be sure if it is still alive now you should do gamma-interferon blood test. Please discuss with your doctor for this
