Hi, I have been taking vyvanse for almost a month now and about two weeks ago got diagnosed with mono. I have been experiencing a lot of nausea and abdominal pain randomly. I am also about a week late for my period. Im not sure if i m pregnant or if its just mono symptoms and the vyvanse effecting my hormonal balance leading to my missed period. please help!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
You need to go for a laboratory urine hCG levels for conclusive evidence of pregnancy. It's because Vyvance sometimes causes the problems of amenorrhea (missed periods as you say) and also drug interactions causes low efficacy of contraceptive pills.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
