What Causes Missed Period After Having Lap And Dye Test?
Hi, I had a lap and dye op on 2nd April. 6th April I had a light period for about 4 days. Since then I m late for a period but have had a negative pregnancy test. I m only a few days late. Could I be pregnant? Or could the lapascopy of caused a delay in my period? I normally have no more than a 35. Day cycle and I m on day 37 today. Thank you.

Hi,
Any type of interference with normal functioning of boy (including the laparoscopic procedure you under went) causes hormonal imbalance in body disturbing menstrual cycle too. It may take few months to set the menstrual cycle back to normal. You never know when would be ovulation these days. So it's desired that you should avoid / have protected relation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Lap and dye test could be the cause of delay in periods. I suggest you to wait for few more days for periods. If still the periods so not start, you may consult your gynecologist.
