What Causes Missed Period Along With Brownish Spotting?

I am 5 days late for two days I had a light pink/brown discharge when wiping, tonight I drank an alcohol beverage then 30 minutes late I began light cramps and a red/brown discharge, now the cramping has stopped and the spotting only when wiping. Could I still be pregnant?

Hi,

This may not mean that you are pregnant but it's important to do pregnancy test to be sure. spotting and cramps may be still common in normal periods. Only that you normal blood flow may have reduced thus coming in small and erratic times. This may be caused by hormonal imbalance. Check hormones level. Consult gynecologist and be free to consult us again also.

Kind regards,
DR MUTUMA G Z
