General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Implanon being a progesterone (hormone) derivative. It can lead to scanty, profuse, absent, or irregular periods. Psychological stress can also lead to such delay. Please rest assured, there is less possible (to confirm you can go for home pregnancy test) and then take pills for getting bleeding with your doctor's advise.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
