What Causes Missed Period Post Birth Control Withdrawal?

Hi, I just recently stopped my birth control, ortho evra, which I was on for 2 years. I got my period every 3 months by my choice because I get really bad cramps when I do have it. I took my patch off on January 13th, got my period January 16th until the 21st. I am married and have unprotected sex. I was supposed to get my period around the 13th or 14th and still haven t gotten it. I ve taken many at home pregnancy tests the 13th, 14th, and 15th, and all were negative. What could be the cause of my missed period? Is it possible I am pregnant?

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
It is very common to get irregular periods after leaving birth control pills/hormonal contraceptives.
So,please wait for a week for another urine pregnancy test and if that is negative please visit your gynaecologist for investigating the cause of delay other than pregnancy.
All the best.
