What Causes Missed Period While HPT Is Negative?

Hello.. Doctor, i am 22yrs girl. My last period was on 6. August.15. But till today i am not having period, it s almost 58 days. But I did a taste with prega news and it shows one pink line that is negative. so what to do am I pregnent?? and last week I had unprotected sex but within 48hrs i had ipill.. so is there anything wrong.. please help me..

The last episode of missing periods for 58 days should have been evaluated for the cause. However, it might have been due to hormonal imbalance.
This time, you have taken the pill in about 48 hours after unprotected intercourse. That means that the pill should be effective in preventing pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the intake of the pill.
In case there is delay in getting periods, kindly consult Gynecologist and get examined for what could be the cause and get treated accordingly.
