What Causes Missed Period With Negative Pregnancy Test Result?
Hello, I am 42 years old and have a 13 and 10 year old. My husband and I for 15 years have used no contraception. I have had 1 known miscarriage 7 years ago. My period usually starts between 22-27 days, a few months ago my period lasted 11 days which was very unusual. Now my last period was April 17th which was 33 days ago. Both pregnancies I was put on progesterone because I was low. I have taken a urine pregnancy test that was negative and 2 days ago had a quantative test that came back negative. My Dr. said not to worry and that some women miss periods all together. Is their still a chance that I could be pregnant?
- With two negative pregnancy tests, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. - Advise you to keep track of your periods. If it continues to remain absent check in again and we can move forward with what else needs to be looked into.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
