What Causes Missed Periods And Irregular Vaginal Spotting?

hI doctor, i am 51 years old i didnot have my periods for the last six months. I thought it may be menopause but i had spotting a days back it lasted for 3-4 days and after 10 days i am again having spotting. I am unable to figure out what it might be

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It appears that you are going in for menopause.
Many of them experience that the periods do not stop abruptly.
Temporary cessation of periods with intermittent spotting is experienced by many before complete cessation of the periods.
However, it would be better to get yourself evaluated once by consulting Gynecologist to make sure that the spotting is not due to any other cause like infection or cancer.
