Hello,
Missed periods are commonly caused by hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, use of BC pills, being
overweight /
underweight, anemia, PCOS, etc. You are suggested to get a complete medical check up done. Get CBS,
Urinalysis, blood workouts, Imaging (X-ray, CT / MRI, etc) done at the earliest.
To be on the safer side get clinically examined by a gynecologist to rule out ectopic
pregnancy, you may be told to get a USG (uterus) done. Get treated. In the meantime, take balance home made food rich in protein, iron, calcium, etc. You can take
multivitamin supplements. Maintain a healthy BMI, avoid stress & addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
