What Causes Missed Periods With HPT Showing Negative Result?
I am sexualy active and when me and me boyfriend would have close calls I would take the emergency contraception pill. Suddenly my period stopped thinking I was pregnant I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. So I didn t make a big deal about it considering that the emergency contraception pill can cause irregular periods. It has been five months and I still haven t had my period taking pregnancy test and call coming out negative. Is there anything that can be seriously wrong.

Amenorrhea(no menstrual period)for five months need medical examination and investigations.
Besides pregnancy,amenorrhea may be due to many reasons.
You may need clinical examination and ultrasound of pelvis.
Ultrasound can detect any gross pathology in uterus,adnexa etc.
You may be prescribed hormonal medicines after evaluation.
