What Causes Mood Swings In Case Of Depression?

Hi, i have suffered with depression in the past and had citalopram tablets for it i was on 40mg a day, i was off work for a while and just didnt want to get out of bed. I have been ok for a couple of years, and am no longer on my medication. I had a baby in febuary and was fine, i didnt suffer from post natal depression or anything. However i now find myself feeling a bit down again sometimes. Some days i dont feel like getting up, and one munite ill be fine but then the slightest little thing will make me so angry and my mood will just change. I take everything out on my boyfriend, and he says i should see a doctor. Do you think i should? One minute im fine, the next i feel so so depressed

You should see a doctor. It seems you are at the beginning of a second depressive episode. If I were your doctor I'll recomand you to take again some citalopram because it has seen to work the first time. However yiou should take it only under doctoor supervision.
Hope I have been helpful.
