What Causes Mood Swings Upon Withdrawal From Escitalopram?

My husband quit taking escitalopram. I found out after his behavior changed dramatically. Our lives have been dramatically changed. Yesterday, he became so upset, he was shaking and out of control. I gave him space by leaving for a few hours to give him time to settle down. When I arrived home, he told me that he had been thinking about killing a certain person, but, thank God, he didn t. When he resumes taking his meds, how soon will his out of control, irrational behavior change?

I really appreciate your concern, such case really needs helps from psychiatrist because it would be very uncertain to say anything about the person having such behavior and care needs to be taken hope this information helps.
