Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a swollen node on left side of neck, soft, doesn t hurt, and is movable. I noticed it last year after had a root canal. Tooth does still bother me at times. Also never got the crown. I m worried about the node though. It has not grown. Only about half the width of the tip of my finger.
noted history of swollen node on the left side of the neck. it may be a lymphadenopathy secondary to your previous tooth condition. other infective pathologies of upper respiratory tract in origin and cystic granulomatous formations, must also be ruled-out. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general or an ENT surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics (such as neck ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy) and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
