Hi,I am a 23 year old female and have been noticing mucus (in clump like form) in my stool. Sometimes it even feels like i need to use the bathroom and all I do is pass mucus. About 2 years ago I had these same symptoms and saw a doctor who gave me suppositories and thought it may be colitis since my aunt was diagnosed with colitis. The suppositories helped for a little while but now my problem is back and I am unsure of what to do, or how to treat colitis and make the mucus go away. Please help!
